VISION:God has spoken to Beacon Church to be a community together on mission to advance God's Kingdom throughout the nations by being a base for equipping believers to grow in maturity in Christ and the West Coast.Beacon Church is an elder-lead, hospitable, multi-cultural, community who desire to impact the West Coast through the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are reformed in our theology, Spirit empowered and missional.Meet the elders of Beacon ChurchBeacon Church is part of a worldwide family of churches called Newfrontiers. As part of our passion for being a relevant New Testament church, we are a church under the apostolic guidance of PJ Smyth and his delegates from GodFirst Church in Johannesburg.

GET INVOLVED SUNDAY SERVICES:Afrikaans: 08:08 (agt oor agt)English: 10:10 (ten past 10)December Holidays: 1 Service - English/Afrikaans: 09:09 (nine past nine)LIFEGROUPS:These are our mid-week small groups and they meet in various homes. We believe that these groups are where we really live out our values and these groups are the heartbeat of the local church. We believe that it is in our LifeGroups that we do life together as Christians. When we gather we share our lives but we also grow together in the Word of God as we have the opportunity to apply God's Word that was taught on Sunday mornings. In these groups we not only live out the great commission, but also the great commandment. Consequently we can only care for you effectively if you are connected to a LifeGroup. LifeGroups also provide a great context for friendship evangelism and thereby ensuring that we as local church continuously reach out to the lost. WHATS HAPPENING UPCOMING SERIES:Starts 29 January 2012The Empty Promises of Sex, Money & PowerCALENDAR FOR TERMWORSHIP TEAM:Worship Team rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings at 19:00. All you need is a willing heart to serve.CHARIS (the grace of giving):All are encouraged to bring food for the Charis Bin in the church building. This food is distributed to the needy within the church.Charis weekly helps with providing soup for the Cummunity Centre to feed the needy in the cummunity in general.Clothing for all ages and sexes are gathered and redistributed to those needing clothing in the church and community from the church office.You are encouraged to become part of what Charis is doing!
